Audit checklist

• Review cabling diagrams and route records.
• Walk key cable routes and communications rooms.
• Check cables are protected from physical damage.
• Check cable labels and colour coding.
• Check power/data segregation where needed.
• Check locked cabinets, equipment rooms, and patch panels.
• Check external/provider junction risks.
• Check risk assessment for interception or tampering.
